TrappeBOOK NOW  Your ballooning adventure takes about three
hours from beginning to end.Don't forget your
camera!
Yourjourney begins at the Trappe Tavern
where
we meet early in the morning or late
afternoon.
We depart to one of our nearby launch
sites and you receive a pre-flight briefing.
The pilot and crew
assemble the balloon and inflate the envelope with
a
motorized fan. Once the envelope is filled with air, the
burner is ignited to heat the air inside and the balloon
rises up. Time to get in!
You then gently rise above
the earth and float for about an hour over
a
very scenic part of Montgomery county. You enjoy a 360
degree view of farm land, forests, ponds and streams,
occasionally spotting deer, foxes, rabbits or other
animals. Your pilot may fly
high for an overview of the valley and sight of the
Philadelphia skyline by good visibility, or descend
within inches of the tree tops.
Eventually, the
balloon lands in an open area
where the crew picks
us up. After packing the balloon we return to our
starting point.
After landing,
each flight is celebrated with a nice champagne
